I decided to study molecular biology to explore the ultimate frontiers of knowledge. And although these horizons seem to drift further as we learn about them, my enthusiasm for pursuing them grows at the same rate.
Currently the fields that I am most passionate about are genetic engineering and synthetic biology. Not only in its basic aspect, but applying their enormous potential to solve the world’s great problems, such as pollution, disease or hunger.
Regarding basic research, another topic that magnets my interest is neuroscience, especially in the fields of learning and decision making, the way we see the world and the origin of our own consciousness.
If you want to count on me to investigate a project, just remember: the more ambitious your goal, the harder it will be for me to resist participating.
